Made by ESS Technology, the two ES9219C DACs of the FiiO BTR5 2021 L-C support sound formats up to 32-bit / 384 kHz. They also process MQA and DSD256 audio streams. With this Bluetooth receiver and USB DAC, you can fully enjoy audio streaming services, but also high definition music files. Combined with its USB-C socket, the XMOS controller guarantees precise playback of digital files stored on a high-end device. The USB connector of this portable DAC is also associated with a precision clock to reduce the effect of jitter during signal transmission. Thanks to these components, you get better audio rendering.
Dual headphone output and high sensitivity microphone
The FiiO BTR5 2021 L-C Bluetooth receiver and USB DAC has two outputs that allow it to power any type of headphone. There is a balanced 2.5mm mini-jack output and an unbalanced 3.5mm jack.
Each output is associated with a headphone amplifier providing better linearity. This displays a low distortion rate and delivers 240 mW into 32 ohms for the balanced connector. The unbalanced output power is 80 mW into 32 ohms. You can adjust the sound reproduction from the monitoring application. The FiiO BTR5 2021 L-C DAC and headphone amplifier features a microphone with a noise-reducing filter. The latter allows you to make clear phone calls and communicate with the voice assistant of the source used.
