The AudioQuest Black Hole GroundGoody is a specialized grounding cable designed to reduce hum, ground-loop noise, and radio-frequency interference in high-performance audio systems. Unlike typical ground wires that can act as antennas and introduce additional RF noise, the Black Hole GroundGoody is engineered to efficiently drain unwanted noise while maintaining signal purity.

At the core of the cable are solid long-grain copper conductors plated with 6% silver, which help improve high-frequency noise dissipation while maintaining excellent electrical conductivity. Solid conductors also prevent strand interaction, a common source of distortion in conventional multi-strand cables.

To further reduce interference, the Black Hole GroundGoody incorporates a Carbon RF-Trap made from conductive PVC, which absorbs and dissipates radio-frequency energy before it can be induced into the conductor.
