The Bluesound VAULT 2i is designed for music lovers who want to preserve a CD collection, store digital music, and stream high-resolution audio throughout the home without relying on a computer. Its built-in 2TB low-power hard drive provides dedicated storage for thousands of tracks, while the slot-loading CD mechanism allows standard audio CDs to be ripped directly to the internal drive.

Users can choose FLAC, WAV, or 320 kbps MP3 ripping formats, making it possible to prioritize either lossless quality or storage efficiency. Once music is stored on the VAULT 2i, it can be accessed and controlled through the BluOS Controller app and shared with compatible Bluesound players across the home.

The VAULT 2i also works as a network streamer and digital source. It supports high-resolution playback, MQA, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC and many other file formats, while offering access to streaming services, internet radio, and network shares through the BluOS platform. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Roon Ready support, Bluetooth aptX HD, and smart-home control integrations make it a flexible part of a modern connected audio system.
