The Pro-Ject Debut PRO S Balanced represents one of the most advanced and refined turntables in the Debut series history. Developed for serious vinyl listeners and audiophiles, this premium model combines professional-grade engineering, precision mechanical construction, and true balanced audio technology to achieve exceptional analog playback performance.
Handmade in Europe, the Debut PRO S Balanced was designed around the philosophy of minimizing resonance, improving tracking precision, and maximizing signal purity. Every component has been optimized to create a highly resolving and emotionally engaging listening experience.
One of the most distinctive features of the Debut PRO S Balanced is its newly engineered 10-inch S-shaped aluminum tonearm. Precision CNC-milled and internally damped, this longer tonearm design improves tracking accuracy while reducing tracking angle distortion, especially toward the inner grooves of the record. The integrated SME headshell connector also allows easy cartridge swapping and future upgrade flexibility.
The turntable includes the high-performance Pick it S2 C moving magnet cartridge, carefully matched to the tonearm for outstanding musicality, excellent channel separation, and detailed analog reproduction.
A major innovation of the Debut PRO S Balanced is its True Balanced Connection capability. In addition to standard RCA outputs, the turntable includes a balanced mini-XLR output that can be paired with compatible Pro-Ject balanced phono stages. This balanced signal transmission dramatically reduces interference and external noise while improving clarity, soundstage depth, and dynamic expression.
The heavy die-cast aluminum platter incorporates an internal TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) damping ring that minimizes resonance and improves rotational stability. Combined with the precision aluminum sub-platter, electronically controlled motor system, and high-precision stainless steel main bearing, the Debut PRO S Balanced achieves exceptionally stable speed performance and ultra-low wow & flutter levels.
Additional premium features include fully adjustable VTA and azimuth settings, height-adjustable damped aluminum feet, a low-resonance MDF plinth, electronic speed selection for 33, 45, and optional 78 RPM playback, and premium detachable phono cables.
The Pro-Ject Debut PRO S Balanced is engineered for audiophiles who demand superior precision, expandability, and balanced analog performance while maintaining the elegant minimalist design Pro-Ject is known for.
