    The HiFiMAN EF499 combines the pure sound of a HiFiMAN R2R DAC with up to 4.35 W of output power. Thanks to its Ethernet connection, it also supports lossless streaming directly from your mobile device or NAS, bringing convenience together with audiophile performance. Its R2R DAC is a fresh design inspired by HiFiMAN’s acclaimed HIMALAYA R2R, delivering a reference-grade sound signature that listeners love.

    Like its higher-end siblings, the EF499 includes High and Low Gain settings for amplifier output, as well as Oversampling and NOS (Non-Oversampling) modes, giving you the flexibility to tailor the sound to your taste.

    Desktop Versatility

    Connectivity is designed for flexibility: USB-A, USB-C, or coaxial digital inputs ensure wide compatibility with modern sources. Outputs via RCA or balanced XLR make it equally capable as a standalone DAC feeding an external headphone amplifier or power amplifier, or as an all-in-one desktop solution.
