    The Pro-Ject X1 B represents the next generation of high-performance audiophile turntables in Pro-Ject’s acclaimed X-Line series. Handmade in Europe using precision CNC-machined components and premium materials, the X1 B was engineered to achieve superior analog playback performance through advanced resonance control, precision tracking, and true balanced signal transmission.

    Built around Pro-Ject’s “True Balanced Connection” concept, the X1 B goes far beyond traditional turntable design. In addition to standard RCA outputs, it features a dedicated 5-pin mini-XLR balanced output allowing fully balanced analog signal transmission when paired with compatible Pro-Ject balanced phono preamps. This balanced architecture dramatically reduces noise, hum, and electromagnetic interference while improving clarity, dynamic range, stereo imaging, and low-level detail retrieval.

    At the heart of the X1 B is its precision 8.6-inch carbon-aluminum sandwich tonearm. This one-piece construction combines the rigidity of carbon fiber with the internal damping characteristics of aluminum, resulting in highly accurate tracking performance with minimal resonance and distortion. The integrated headshell design eliminates additional vibration points for improved sonic purity.

    The included Pick it PRO Balanced moving magnet cartridge was specifically designed for balanced operation and optimized to extract maximum detail and musicality from vinyl records. Developed in collaboration with Ortofon, the cartridge delivers a highly dynamic and engaging sound signature with excellent tonal balance and channel separation.

    The resonance-free 20 mm acrylic platter provides outstanding rotational stability while reducing unwanted resonance and coloration. Combined with the precision stainless steel bearing system, electronically controlled DC/AC motor generator, and advanced motor suspension design, the X1 B achieves exceptionally low rumble, reduced wow & flutter, and remarkably stable playback.

    Additional premium features include adjustable VTA and azimuth settings, TPE-damped counterweight, height-adjustable damped aluminum feet, low-resonance MDF plinth, electronic speed selection for 33, 45, and optional 78 RPM playback, and high-quality semi-balanced Connect it E phono cables.
