The Pro-Ject Debut Reference 10 represents the ultimate evolution of Pro-Ject’s award-winning Debut turntable platform. Developed to celebrate more than 30 years of analog engineering expertise, this premium model combines advanced audiophile technologies, precision European craftsmanship, and sophisticated resonance control to achieve extraordinary vinyl playback performance.
Handmade in Europe, the Debut Reference 10 was engineered around a philosophy of eliminating unwanted resonance, improving signal purity, and maximizing tracking precision. Every component has been redesigned and upgraded to create a turntable capable of delivering exceptional detail retrieval, expansive soundstaging, and natural analog warmth.
At the center of the design is a newly developed 10-inch one-piece carbon-aluminum tonearm. This advanced hybrid construction combines the rigidity of carbon fiber with the internal damping properties of aluminum, reducing resonance while improving tracking precision and lowering inner-groove distortion. The longer 10-inch geometry further improves tracking accuracy across the entire record surface.
The Debut Reference 10 includes the high-performance Pick it PRO Balanced moving magnet cartridge. Developed in collaboration with Ortofon, this cartridge is optimized for balanced signal transmission and delivers excellent channel separation, dynamic expression, and highly refined tonal balance.
One of the most important innovations is the inclusion of Pro-Ject’s True Balanced Connection technology. Alongside traditional RCA outputs, the turntable features a dedicated mini-XLR balanced output allowing fully balanced analog signal transmission when paired with compatible Pro-Ject balanced phono preamps. This dramatically reduces noise, hum, and external interference while improving transparency and low-level detail retrieval.
The acoustically inert 300 mm acrylic platter is paired with a precision diamond-cut aluminum sub-platter and a high-precision stainless steel bearing system. Together with the newly developed motor suspension and electronically generated clean sine-wave motor control, the Debut Reference 10 achieves exceptional rotational stability with extremely low wow & flutter performance.
Additional premium features include fully adjustable VTA and azimuth, height-adjustable TPE-damped aluminum feet, hand-painted MDF chassis construction, gold-plated RCA outputs, premium Connect it Phono E cable, electronic speed switching, and a minimalist industrial design inspired by Pro-Ject’s higher-end reference models.
The Pro-Ject Debut Reference 10 establishes a new benchmark within the Debut series, offering true high-end analog refinement and balanced audiophile performance at an exceptional value.
