Its dual-mono Class AB amplifier architecture is engineered to deliver exceptional current capability, low distortion, and precise speaker control. Powered by a large ultra-low-noise 630VA toroidal transformer and premium internal circuitry, the amplifier maintains stable performance and effortless dynamics even with demanding loudspeaker loads.
The digital section is built around the ESS ES9038PRO DAC operating in a balanced differential configuration. Dual ultra-low-jitter master clocks improve timing precision while preserving stereo imaging, low-level detail, and musical transparency. High-resolution playback compatibility includes PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512 support through the USB-C input.
Connectivity includes HDMI ARC, USB-C, optical and coaxial digital inputs, balanced XLR input, RCA analog inputs, and a dedicated MM/MC phono stage utilizing custom JFET circuitry. Adjustable phono gain settings allow compatibility with a wide range of moving magnet and moving coil cartridges.
The amplifier also integrates a dedicated current-feedback headphone amplifier designed for low distortion, fast transient response, and wide bandwidth performance. Balanced XLR and RCA pre-outs provide flexible integration with external amplifiers, subwoofers, and active speaker systems.
The Platina Integrated features a rigid steel chassis with an anodized aluminum fascia, anti-resonance feet, side-mounted heatsinks, and a 4.3-inch IPS color display.
