The Audio-Technica AT-LP7X is designed for listeners who want a refined manual turntable with strong resonance control, cartridge flexibility, and accurate belt-drive performance. Its dense 40 mm MDF cabinet and 20 mm high-density acrylic platter help reduce vibration and unwanted resonance, allowing records to play with a clean and stable presentation.

Its optical sensor-monitored DC servo motor maintains accurate platter rotation at 33-1/3 and 45 RPM. The motor is mounted with vibration-dampening rubber bushings to help isolate mechanical noise from the plinth, while the spring-based height-adjustable isolation feet reduce the effect of external vibration.

The J-shaped aluminum tonearm is inspired by classic Audio-Technica designs and uses a dual-axis gimbal with precision ball bearings for smooth, stable tracking. Vertical tracking angle adjustment, adjustable anti-skate, and the included 16 g subcounterweight give users greater cartridge and headshell flexibility.

The AT-LP7X comes fitted with an AT-LT10 removable headshell and AT-VM95E BK Dual Moving Magnet cartridge with a 0.3 x 0.7 mil bonded elliptical stylus. The cartridge body is compatible with the Audio-Technica VM95 Series stylus range, allowing future upgrades without replacing the full cartridge.

For system matching, the built-in switchable phono preamplifier supports both MM and MC cartridge modes. This allows the turntable to connect to amplifiers, receivers, powered speakers, and systems with or without a dedicated phono input, while still allowing use with an external phono stage when preferred.
