Fully Differential True 24-Bit R-2R Resistor Arrays DAC
The K13 R2R employs FiiO’s proprietary four-channel fully differential 24-bit R-2R resistor-ladder DAC, composed of 48 precision thin-film resistors per channel—a total of 192 resistors across four channels. Each resistor features 0.1% accuracy and low temperature drift (30 ppm), ensuring ultra-precise performance.
This R-2R architecture allows the K13 R2R to deliver a rich, natural, and musical sound, while the NOS (Non-Oversampling) and OS (Oversampling) modes provide two distinct listening experiences—one more organic and analog-like, the other more analytical and detailed.
Preamplifier + Power Amplifier Output — A True Desktop Decoding Hub
With its wide array of inputs and outputs, the K13 R2R serves as both a preamplifier and a power amplifier, accommodating diverse listening setups.
It supports PCM 384 kHz/32-bit and DSD256 decoding, processing high-resolution audio with ease for exceptional clarity and detail.
Specially Designed Power Supply
The K13 R2R integrates a dual DC/AC power design. Its built-in 30 W switching power supply, protected by a nickel-plated alloy shield, provides superior anti-interference performance and a cleaner power source.
An external DC power input is also available, allowing pairing with a high-performance linear power supply for alternative tonal characteristics.
Internally, FiiO spares no effort in power design: up to 18 low-noise LDO regulators and 5 DC-DC converters form a multi-rail power system, ensuring robust and stable current delivery.
Premium ELNA RA3 series silk-film capacitors and specialized tantalum audio capacitors maintain a pure and stable power supply, contributing to the K13 R2R’s warm and natural sonic signature.
